Grace Ministries offers counseling on a donation basis, with a suggested donation of $100 per session. However, we are committed to working with anyone who is serious about seeking help, regardless of their financial situation. We will not turn anyone away due to financial reasons. We do encourage you to contribute what you can after each appointment.
Typically, the process involves between ten and twenty sessions. Each session usually lasts about an hour to an hour and a half, though this can vary.
All Grace Ministries staff counselors are trained through our True Life Advanced Training and Mentoring program. As a ministry, we do not require our coaching staff to be licensed professional counselors.
Grace Ministries uses an eLearning platform called Pathwright to deliver counseling content. As part of your onboarding, you’ll receive a link to access the platform. The suggested cost for the content is $50. If this cost poses a hardship, your coach can provide a discount code. Once enrolled, you can access your materials through this link.
Your coach may also recommend one or more books for you to read during the process. These books can be borrowed or purchased, and some may be available through your public library’s online system, such as Hoopla Digital.
Grace Ministries counselors meet with clients both online and in person. We have counselors available for in-person sessions in Manassas, Warrenton, Woodbridge, and Lynchburg, Virginia.
Online counseling is conducted via the Microsoft Teams platform.
We primarily coach adults, but we are open to discussing your specific needs. If appropriate, we can refer you to a counselor who specializes in working with younger individuals.
